While we are in the middle of all sorts of fun and excitement learning lines and practicing dances for Pop Princess and the Pea I wanted to take a quick minute to let you know about what’s up next for ZZZ. Coming in  April: a 6 week session introducing kids to the magic of Broadway! Stay tuned for more details on class content, dates, and enrollment info. Info will also be available in the spring brochure of the Grayslake Park District.

It appears some people are experiencing technical difficulties with the practice CD’s handed out today. I will make more and bring them to class on Monday. Please let me know via e-mail if you need a new CD.

Lose your script? Maybe the dog ate it? No problem! The current semester’s scripts are available now on our SCRIPTS page. You must have the ZZZ password to access the page. (Need the password? E-mail MsMelonie)

Once on the page, you will see pdf files of scripts and song lyrics you can download and print at home.

One of the best things about children’s theatre is the confidence and pride that grows exponentially with each performance a child does. It is so much fun to be on stage, and it’s even better when you get to show 0ff to people you know and love. Which is why I designed some personalized tickets for each performer in the fall show. The ticket also has the name of the show along with the time, date and location  – so your little superstar can pass them out to friends and family. Admission is free, so these act as more of a reminder for people like me who forget dates unless they are stuck to my fridge. I think they also make great keepsakes!

To get yours, go to the scripts page and type in the password. Click on your child’s name for the pdf file you can download and print from home. Print them in color or black and white, on plain paper or cardstock. Print just one or copy and paste and print a whole sheet of em! Or, attach it as an e-mail and send it off that way.

Hope to see lots of people providing the thunderous applause these performers deserve!
